Announcing the Semifinalists in the 2025 Wharton Global High School Investment Competition

More than 5,000 registrations began rolling in last June, ultimately resulting in more than 1,800 teams from 66 countries submitting final reports following the end of stock market trading on December 6, 2024 — our biggest Wharton Global High School Investment Competition yet.

And now, the moment that thousands of competitors have been waiting for! The Wharton Global Youth Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, has identified the Top Semifinalist teams in our annual investment competition, which this year launched on Monday, September 30, 2024.

After careful consideration by our internal reviewers and a group of professional asset managers, we have selected this year’s strongest teams, including one team from last year’s first-place school, Spark Investments from Bergen County Academies (pictured above, along with Wharton Global Youth senior executive director Eli Lesser), which won an automatic spot among the semifinalists.
