Scholarship FAQs

What is financial need? How do I demonstrate need?

Financial need is generally regarded as the difference between the cost of attending a summer program and the amount of money the student can contribute towards applicable program fees. In short, financial need means a student would not be able to afford programming opportunities without financial support.

Within the scholarship application students will be asked to outline family income, number of household dependents, relevant expenses, and additional financial circumstances that will serve to demonstrate the level of financial need a student requires to attend programming.
