Strategic management refers to the activities a firm performs to achieve its objectives. Marketing strategies of a firm, think of Apple, for example, include the product and service offering, the customer experience it creates, the pricing it charges, the way it positions, promotes and advertises the product, the way it distributes the product, and the resources and capabilities it needs in order to develop and implement the strategy.
