An elevator pitch is a quick overview, typically of a new venture, designed to pique an investor’s interest in a really, really short amount of time. Sort of like the time you have sharing an elevator ride. So, imagine Warren Buffet and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino in an elevator. Warren Buffett: You have 15 seconds. Mike “The Situation”: My company promotes a line of supplements that gives you ripped abs regardless of whether or not you’re wearing Abercrombie and Fitch clothing. Warren Buffett: Tell me more.
