REGISTRATION REMINDERS

  • PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW THE INSTRUCTIONS.
  • REGISTRATION FOR THE COMPETITION REQUIRES TWO STEPS FROM ADVISORS.
    ADVISORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

    • STEP 1: REGISTERING THEMSELVES (MUST BE COMPLETED BY 5:00 P.M. ET ON SEPTEMBER 12)
    • STEP 2: REGISTERING THEIR STUDENT TEAM(S) (MUST BE COMPLETED BY 11:59 P.M. ET ON SEPTEMBER 18)
  • ACCOUNTS ARE SET UP FOR EACH TEAM NOT EACH STUDENT. EACH TEAM SHARES ONE ACCOUNT ON WINS. DO NOT CREATE A TEAM LOGIN FOR EVERY STUDENT.
  • ADVISORS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO REGISTER MORE THAN ONCE. IF YOU MAKE AN ERROR, CONTACT US. IF THIS RULE IS NOT FOLLOWED, YOUR TEAM(S) WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION.
  • ADVISORS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS FOR THE DESIGNATED STUDENT TEAM LEADER.
  • EVERY TEAM NEEDS A UNIQUE EMAIL ADDRESS.

Once Advisors register for the competition (Step 1), they will receive a confirmation email with instructions to set up their student team account(s) on the Wharton Investment Simulator (WInS), our trading platform (Step 2).

KEEP IN MIND:

  • The Advisor must register for the competition. Students are NOT permitted to register for the competition on their own behalf or on behalf of their team. If this rule is not followed, your team will not be permitted to participate in the competition.
  • ADVISORS: Please note that if you participated in the 2024-2025 competition, you must re-register for the 2025-2026 competition.
  • Teams are comprised of 4-6 students and all the students must attend the same school. Students from different schools are NOT permitted to compete on the same team.
  • The student team leader must be at least 16 years of age at the start of the competition (September 29, 2025). No exceptions.
  • The maximum number of teams an advisor can oversee is five (5).
  • An advisor must be a teacher/educator at the same school as the students.

INSTRUCTIONS

In order to complete the registration form, advisors will need to:

  • Choose the username and password for their advisor account.
  • Provide their school-issued email address, as well as a back-up email address where all competition communications will be sent.
  • Provide their high school name and website, as well as the name and email address for the school’s principal/head of school.
  • Indicate the number of teams they anticipate they will oversee (up to five).

Important

✓ All registration fields are required. Advisors must provide accurate information in the registration fields. We will flag any registration that does not appear to meet this requirement.

✓ Accounts are set up for each team not each student. Each team shares one account on WInS. Do not create a team login for every student.

✓ We will not collect the names of your team members until Friday, October 17 when official team rosters must be submitted. Detailed instructions will be provided at a later date.
