From insightful conversations to top-tier presentations, this year’s Wharton Global High School Investment Competition Learning Day and Global Finale (April 25–26) showcased the very best of student talent, global collaboration, and forward-thinking ideas.

Finalist teams from Brazil, India, the United Kingdom, and across the United States gathered on the Wharton School’s campus in Philadelphia to kick off the experience with an engaging Learning Day. Students explored campus, connected with peers from around the world, and heard from an inspiring lineup of speakers. Wharton Dean Erika H. James welcomed participants and reflected on the importance of leadership and innovation in a rapidly evolving landscape. Mauro Guillén, Vice Dean of Wharton’s MBA Program for Executives, shared insights on global markets and the forces shaping the future of investing.

Students also had the opportunity to hear directly from this year’s competition client, Connor Barwin, WG’23, founder of Make The World Better (MTWB). He shared his journey from the NFL to Wharton, reflecting on how both experiences have shaped and strengthened his approach to building community impact through MTWB. During an engaging Q&A, students asked thoughtful questions about his work and investment priorities, gaining deeper insight into how strategic decision-making can drive meaningful, positive change.
